This home is a 2-minute walk to the beach either down the path next to the river, or down the street which most people use as a path too. One of the unique features of this home is that it has off-street parking for 5-cars with 2 in the Garage and 3 in the driveway.

This home is always booked far in advance for the Begonia Festival on Labor Day, which has the Begonia covered floats drifting by the home, but you will enjoy this unique family-loved home, no matter what time of year you visit. Downstairs the Great Room features a wood fireplace with free firewood and several comfortable chairs & a couch. The dining area has a large wooden table that can expand to hold up to 10 guests. The newly remodeled kitchen features all new appliances including a dishwasher. The cooks in the kitchen can enjoy the view of the River (formal name is Soquel Creek) too. The TVs are on cable and there is a fast wireless



The first bedroom is on the first level with 1-Queen bed with a small TV. It is just across the hall from the 1-full bath with a double-sized shower. There is also the laundry room on this floor which has the door to the double-car garage.


Upstairs is a large family room with a fun bar with colored lights in the corner, a large TV and DVD player and a loveseat and 1-Queen sofa sleeper. Also includes fireplace-Bring your own fire wood There is a nice deck with even a better view of the river and several tables & chairs next to this spacious family room. The 2nd bedroom is down a short hall and had 1-King bed. The 3rd bedroom is a huge room with 1-King bed and 1-Queen sofa sleeper. The 2nd bath with a tub/shower is across from these two bedrooms. Sorry no pets.

Enjoy the calm river! And then stroll to Capitola for activities, beach and shopping or wine tasting.

45 minutes to Monterey Bay Aquarium.
7 minutes to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.

Take Hwy 17 South from San Jose about 26 miles. Take the Exit to Hwy 1 South toward, Watsonville/Monterey. The 4th exit is Bay/Porter in Capitola (just passed the 41st Ave exit) to the Right. At the stoplight, turn Right and go past the new Nob Hill Shopping Center. The 3rd street to the Right is Capitola Ave. Turn Right and go down to the village. At the next intersection, turn Right on Stockton Ave and then immediate Right on Riverview Ave before the bridge. Go up about a block, past the tressel to 407 Riverview Ave on the left. There is a 2-car garage and the outside driveway can hold 3-more cars. There are no land line phones at this home, but cellphones work well. You do have Comcast internet if you brought your laptop.
