Here's Why We Love Hot Springs!

Hot Springs, Arkansas, has been a major tourist attraction for years beacuase of the natural hot springs in the town, from which it derives its name. There was so much for us to do and enjoy when visiting this little gem destination in the heart of Arkansas. Yes, and we would strongly recommend it for your next vacation.

Perhaps best known in the recent past as the boyhood home of former President Bill Clinton, Hot Springs has been world renowned for her natural hot springs and the healing properties attributed to them. In fact, one of our favorite places we visited while in Hot Springs was Bathhouse Row, a journey back in time to when all of these were in operation and people traveled from all over to enjoy the warm waters of the area. Today only one of the bathhouses is still in operation and one houses a museum, but the row of buildings is quite a sight.

Another famous site in the town is the famed Arlington Hotel, a favorite of legendary mobster Al Capone. This is what our son most liked about our Arkansas vacation! Oaklawn Park was also a family favorite, as this is where you get to see those magnificent thoroughbreds on those racetracks. Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, grand theme and water parks, should not be missed when you are in Hot Springs. This is a great travel destination for all, and should not be missed!
