About Vacation Rentals in Molokai

Visiting Molokai is like walking back in time as this is the most undeveloped of the Hawaiian Islands. Molokai is a vacationers' paradise, offering activities such as sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, body boarding, surfing, kayaking, horseback riding, golfing, and deep-sea fishing. A great way to kick-start your Molokai vacation is by heading to Papohaku Beach, on West Molokai. It is one of the longest and finest beaches in all of Hawaii. You will be captivated by this beauty stretching over three miles. The beach is great for a nice stroll and for enjoying a Pacific sunset from your Hawaii Vacation Homes. For some tame waves and excellent swimming, head to Murphy's Beach, located on East Molokai. The natural barrier reef gives the beach its own tidal pool and is an ideal spot for a picnic or a quick dip while driving along the coast. Ali'i Beach Park, on the south coast is another great spot for enjoying a spectacular Molokai sunset or just soaking up some sun.

Hop a ride on the back of a mule in Kalaupapa National Historic Park along the north shore. The ride unveils the beauty of the north shore sea cliffs, narrow lush valleys, rain forest, lava tubes and caves.  The journey bottoms out at a historic leper colony, founded by Father Damien de Veuster, who cared for the sick residents back in the 1860s. The waves on the north shore of Molokai calms down a bit during the summer and it is the right time to set out from the Kaluakoi Resort in a kayak and wind your way through the seaside valleys and secret coves that hide along the shore. The small beaches and tidal pools will make your a day of paddling a bliss.
