Oregon is a state located in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. The Mission Mill Museum and the historic Elsinore Theater are situated in downtown Salem. Salem is also home to the Waldo Park, which consists of a single Sequoia tree and it is one of the smallest city parks in the world. The Reed Opera House, a renovated historic building is also located at downtown Salem. It was built in 1869-70, and today, the Reed Opera House features an art gallery, retail shops, bars and restaurants.  The Oregon State Fair & Expo, held annually at the end of August and beginning of September is a popular fair that features concerts, rides, and competitions.
