Seabrook Island's golf courses became the first in South Carolina and 75th in the US to become a certified member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf. The Ocean Winds Golf Course here is rated as Four Star by Golf Digest; the Crooked Oaks Golf Course in Seabrook Island underwent greens renovations in 2005. 

Seabrook Island is a fresh, green maritime forest with crooked live oaks and vast marshes that open to Audubon Cooperative Sanctuaries. You can canoe, kayak, paddle or explore the salt marsh. Naturalists can get a Guided Beach Walk for viewing the local wildlife in Seabrook Island. Other vacation destinations here are Isle of Palms, Wild Dunes, and Edisto Beach.
