The Stoney Creek Course is 3 separate 9 hole loops with a wide variety of layout choices. Stoney Creek is fun for all skill levels. A dive into Lake Monocan, located at Stoney Creek down the mountain can offer some aquatic fun. Angling enthusiasts can toss in a line for large bass. Wintergreen is a family-oriented resort offering and slopes. Wintergreen Resort features some of the best terrain around for skiing and snowboarding, and also a great terrain park and the largest snow tubing park in Virginia.

Wintergreen Resort is a leader among Southeast resorts in snowmaking technology implementations. Wintergreen has enhanced its York snowmaking system by adding 10 new guns to the advanced Highlands slopes, and two new guns to the new learning area. That adds to the 300 tower-mounted guns that are controlled by a computer system. The mountain comes alive in summer with the sound of music during the Wintergreen Summer Music Festival.
